Recent development projects include:
• State of California – Develop self service terminals for dispensing of motor vehicle registration renewals in an unattended environment that also allows customers to pay for the transaction with cash, check, or credit card. This required the development of a local VB.NET application to interface with all of the hardware components of the self service terminal including custom printers, check readers, cash acceptors, cash dispensers, barcode scanners, and mag stripe readers. We then had to install a central bank of servers in the State running custom developed centralized applications for transaction processing, state of health monitoring, intranet services, and ad hoc reporting.
• Sun Studio – We developed a new site with full e-commerce capabilities, enhanced graphics and effects, a flash driven show, enhanced self management capabilities, and enhanced promotional capabilities for the immensely popular “Birthplace of Rock and Roll” in Memphis, Tennessee. • States of Hawaii and Alaska – Developed and implemented a remote mail room operation for the printing and fulfillment of vehicle registrations. We set up centralized servers to receive files from the States and upon reception, our applications then parse them and prepare them for print operators all automatically. Print operators utilize a local application we developed to print the vehicle registrations and ensure quality assurance.
